The RoadTrip

Roadtrip!!! The word brings out a sense of excitement, a feeling of adventure through ones mind. Road trip is one of  those things a person dreams of doing ever since one learns driving . We Indians are not much of roadtrip people but the feeling is now catching up to everyone.

Our country is blessed with amazing landscapes & a vast diversity among the people and their cultures, which just makes the journey more adventurous and adds like icing on a giant delicious cake. The 'road' which is like the 'heart and soul' of a road trip wasn't that good but the picture has changed in the past few years. Despite all this we proudly have a road which goes through heaven, a spectacle of Gods artistry on our planet. Those who got the hint, I'm talking about the road to Leh Ladakh from Manali. Being regarded as among the top road trip destinations in the world, it is a magical experience which I have heard from many but not cherished yet.

driving through the rain
My first road trip wasn't long but it was quality over quantity. Just few friends on our way to Lonavala. The road through the western ghats was like no other especially during the monsoon. There were cars speeding on the expressway on their way to lonavala but the old Pune highway has no substitute. Until then I didn't know how amazing the it is to drive on the old highway but thre has been no looking back since then.

After countless number so such long and short trips, the best yet was travelling from Mumbai- Bhavnagar (Gujarat). that was one heck of a drive in my Maruti 800. You might raise an eyebrow but after driving for 14 hours there was very little exhaustion as we took rest at our destination but a whole not of happiness as it was a first cross state roadtrip for my friend and me.

Traveling through Punjab & Gujarat feels almost the same, those endless straight roads across the flat lands, nothing but the open sky to guide us, wind blowing across our faces & feeling like a stallion running across vast grasslands. The best is yet to come as Manali - Lek Ladakh is a place I really wanna experience & nothing will make it more better than the company of my team members and friends.

Feel Of Sumthing New

There isn't anything that turns the head of any person like a new car, freshly out of the showroom with plastic covers still intact and the most appealing part is the feel of freshness when you sit in the car for the first time. As soon as you turn the key a smile widens across your face and the thought of a long roadtrip which one rarely takes runs deep within you. It's moments like these that make you feel like a KinG and at the same time you feel like a KiD whose got the best present in the whole world, a feeling you just can't get enough of.

A new car is something worthy of being cared like a new girlfriend, keeping safe distances while driving and keeping it always clean. You take the occasional pain of waxing or washing the car yourself and you take pride in doing so, I do..

For those who love their cars equally as their girlfriends or perhaps more, it is just one such thing that will let you do whatever you feel like without any hassles and be there with you as always n forever.

If you are among those fortunate few who got their dream machines (car) you are one hell of a lucky chap..jus one thing treasure it your entire life and enjoy those priceless & precious drives with your love...
